a bit about me
Welcome to my space! My name is Danielle and I am a 30 something stay at home mama to two littles, Cam age 2.5 and Jake age 7 months. I live in a cozy little country town in Connecticut with my boys, my hubs, 2 dogs, a cat and our chickens. I have always enjoyed
reading/writing for fun, and am currently going back to school to obtain my degree in Middle School literature. I started this blog when I was pregnant with my first son as a creative outlet.
I have a passion for all things organic and natural (hence the old blog title, A Natural Approach) and that was the "theme" behind the blog, aside from the every day rantings I decided to include. After becoming a stay at home mom (and now for the second time) I have a lot more on my mind to write about. I still have the same passions, but now I have tantrums, and a messy house. I also have the ability to witness my children's "first everything" and to watch them grow and learn, and while doing so I am growing and learning as a parent. I decided that I needed to shift my blog. It sounds cliche but it has definitely turned into more of a mommy blog. My love of coffee will never go away and now I need it more than ever...so "The Caffeinated Mama" was born. Its a humorous but honest title.
There are millions of blogs circulating on the web and a lot far more interesting than mine I am sure, but I want to keep my space simple. I do not plan to cover my space in ads, or clickable links. No, here I will post about the things that I am thinking about and that are important to me. I will from time to time shine light on other bloggers who I love to follow. I will also continue to do product reviews for companies that ask. I enjoy doing these things and its always fun to learn about new products. (I receive no compensation for any reviews.)
So if you enjoy talking about kids and coffee, or natural/organic lifestyle topics...then take a peek around! If you dont, then pass by this blog....lord knows I have done it!
